Overview of Vaping
Fraser Health nurse Judith Pellerin will present an overview of the harms associated with vaping and introduce a peer-to-peer education program available to schools.
Vaping is becoming increasingly common among youth, with 26 per cent of B.C. youth reporting having ever vaped (BC Adolescent Survey 2023). This session will outline the risks and provide information about the Vaping Awareness Peer Education (VAPE) program, a peer-to-peer learning model in which student leaders deliver interactive vaping-prevention sessions to younger students.
All parents and caregivers are welcome to attend.
